Technology

In technology, I loved doing the pixel project it was so much fun. I did Boo from Monsters Inc. I also loved doing the timed typing tests. It really helped me with typing faster. I am glad I got to be in class and Mrs. Debolt is very nice. The thing that was hard was doing the direction guide on the pixel project. Technology isn't my favorite subject. But, this year it was one of my favorite. It was so fun and, hopefully we get to do even more fun stuff next year in eighth grade.

My Mom's Birthday

My mom's birthday is today. Her birthday is 12/12/68. She is wonderful. I love her so much. She is the best mom in the whole entire universe. Usually on birthdays in my family the birthday  person gets to pick where they want to eat and where they want to go after we eat. I think she is planing on picking to go to Frankie Gianino's . I bought her a batter thing to help her squeeze out the batter for cupcakes. I made her a birthday card on Tuesday. But, it's kinda bad because her arm is hurting really bad. Hopefully, it gets better

Being Special Is Right

I think that everyone is special in their own way so, The United States I believe is right. I also think that the United States are wrong, too. Because just because you're special doesn't mean you can get away with stuff. I think that that is how people think that just because they're different from everybody else doesn't mean that get special treatment. People are taking that to an advantage and it's not okay. But, I still do believe that the United States is right that everybody is special in their own way so be original.

What I Am Doing For Christmas

This is what I am doing for Christmas. First, I am getting ready in the morning to go to my Grandma Pat's House. And every year we wear a different color to match for Christmas. Then, we go to my grandma's house. After that, we go to my house and sleep.Then, we wake up at like 11:00 and we get ready to go to 12:00 mass at church. After that, I go to my Grandma Anna's House and we exchange presents. I love Christmas because I get to spend Christmas with my family and it's Jesus birthday! I cannot wait!!! It's going to be a blast and I get to see my cousins that I haven't saw in a while. Merry Christmas!

Door To Neverland

I would choose the door to Neverland. I would choose that door because Tinkerbell,Peter Pan, and The Lost Boys are there. Neverland is like magical. You could fly with Tinkerbell's pixie dust.You could play hide and go seek with the Lost Boys. Also, you could find some treasure and fight off Captain Hook. It would be a dream come true to go to Neverland. Sometimes I wish I was a kid again. I have always wanted to be a pixie but, that's not real. So, being able to fly is the best next thing. Find your inner Disney.

Memories In A Bottle

I would bottle up when my grandma could talk and comprehend. My grandma had a stroke in 2008 or 2009. I miss my grandma's voice. I would do anything to go back and hear voice even for one more time. Do you know how hard it is when you go into your grandmother's house and when you talk to her she doesn't respond? She had a beautiful voice. I can tell my grandpa misses her so much. But, I know that everything happens for a reason. I'll just put her in God's hands.

My name is Nevaeh Brooks. I am new to the Festus District. I used to go to Windsor Middle School. I love hockey. Go St.Louis Blues! I love to go swimming and I have a pool. I love to hang out with my cousins. I have a really big family. My mom is the tenth of twelve. I am the 34th grandchild. I have grown up with my family and I love them to death.My favorite color is teal. My favorite food is Enchiladas. My favorite animal is a chameleon and a koala.

I am Mexican, Latino, Irish, German, Native American, and Indian. My dad works at Anhiser Busch. He is an operator and works for Spiratas Wrecking Company. My mom is a stay at home mom but, she goes into my Grandma's House on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because my grandma had a stroke. Since my mom has five other sisters they each take a day to take care of my grandma. I also have a nephew named Cohen. I love him.

I like to get on the computer.I actually know some things about the computer. But, sometimes  I am confused on the technology. But, I can figure it out. I cannot wait what brings in this class!

a story

A long time ago about 400 years ago there was a girl and she was by herself walking and she got lost in some far away place that no one knew was there.She has been missing for 3 years she now takes care of herself there is no one where she is.It is so quite there and there is a creek she lives by.She sleeps on some rocks and cries everyday.Then one day the creek gets lot of water and going down the stream very fast.She hears something on the rocks she leaves to go find some food. When she comes back she sees a animal she has never seen before.Then she makes friends with him and get emotional because she wants to go home.After that she is sitting on a rock crying then a the animal opens his mouth and gives her a wish and she gets to go home and she gets to see her family.Then she never goes back there ever again and always thinks about the animal when she wakes up.

TODAY

Today my goal is too take two AR test I read at home last nite one is worth 2 points and ones worth 0.5 points.I need to take a AR test on both of them in paws.Then if I pass them two I will need to see how many more points I need.Right now I know that I need 7 more points out of 9.9 points.Then I will get to more books that will get me to my goal and we have a read in ms.pages class so I hopefully will get to finish one and take AR test on it and start the other one tonite and finish it at home.Then Friday test on them and hopefully be at my AR goal and everyone is saying you have to be at least 80% by Friday to go to the parade so im trying to read as much as I can right now.So hopefully I will be able to make my AR goal by Friday. :) 

free blog

Next week in school is gonna be fun.Its gonna be spirit week and Friday we have a parade. I'm excited.Next Friday is the biggest football game too.We are gonna beat the team we are vs.In the parade there will be firetrucks and they are really loud.My dad would be on the firetruck but he has to work and he just moved to crystal city fire department but the fire trucks are my favorite part. I'm really excited for next week.

seven doors

WELCOME TO WONDERLAND!:)

Out of the seven doors i would pick the third one.The third door is the wonderland door.I pick that door because everyone says it is the most fun and u would not want to leave.When i walk throught the door i go down this huge slide and it brings me to the wonderland.The wonderland has a bunch of games and theres food and drinks.You can do anything you want whenever you want.My friends and i have so much fun and we do not want to leave but we had to 5 hours later.We will be back but we will also go through other doors too.We had the best time.Now we know what everyone talks about.

freestyle

This weekend I'm not very busy.Friday I'm going to the back to school dance.Then I might go to the football game.Saturday I will be cleaning out my basement and then probably go to my friends house.Then Sunday I'm going to be doing nothing. Every Sunday I usually do nothing. I'm probably going to have a boring single weekend.

one night.....

One night i was in my favorite chair sleeping and my dog woke me up by his barking.I get up to see what he was barking about.I looked out the window and i see a face.I jumped back and screamed i got really scared then i went to see if my mom was sleeping and she was.I went to go wake her up and tell her.She got up really fast and she looked out the window and then she got scared too.It was 3 in the morning.The face was like a gross face  and it looked like a Freddy Kruger mask.My mom was about to go outside and i told her no.Then my mom and i looked out the window again and the face was gone.We looked out all the other windows and made sure the doors were locked then the face knocked on the door and we found it was my sisters boyfriend pranking us.We felt kinda dum.But after that we all went to bed and still plan to get him back.

My favorite memory

If there was a paper i could do of a memory in a bottle I would do when I had my surgery.When I had to have surgery it was at children's hospital in St.Louis.But when i went to JMH first  I was really really sick everyone thought it was the stomach flu but then at JMH they did a cat scan on me and it was 3 in the morning.After that i went to my room and 20 minutes later they told me my appendix needs to be taken out so a half hour later children's hospital ambulance came and brought me there.I was in a waiting room waiting for them to do my surgery and i was crying because it hurt so bad.I had a iv's in and a mask on me and stuff.Then they took me into the sugrey room and i layed on a different bed and they put a oxygen mask on me and some kinda of stickers and while they were asking me questions i fell asleep i woke up like 4 hours later in pain.I layed there for a few minutes and the doctors told me i could go see a show outside in the park there.I was on morphine so i was really cranky.It took me a long time to get out of bed.It hurt really bad to get up.When we were going to see it i had my mom pushing me in the wheelchair and my dad rolling the stand with the water bad and my iv.and my dad almost took it out of me. It hurt very bad.Well the rest of the days in the hospital were kinda fun i had blizzards whenever i wanted.I got to play games and watch movies.After the fourth day in pain they finally said i can come home.It took me a long time to recover.I was still cranky and couldnt really do anything for days.I hope it never happens again.

tape mesureing

I got a tape measure.I am going to use it to measure my sister.She plans on losing about at least 5 pounds this week.She will workout all week from sunday till next sunday. She will go to the gym for 3 hours a day she will drink healthy and she will eat healthy and she will carry her tape measure with her everywhere to remind herself.We are going to see how much she loses in the width and in the length.I hope she loses more than 5 pounds.Last week she lost 7 pounds in 9 days.Shes been drinking and eating health for a week now and when we measured her she lost 9 pounds and looks so much Skinner then she did she is gonna keep it up and look brand new she hopes she is very proud of herself.:)
